Living a vibrant life filled with joy and purpose is absolutely do-able. My mission is to help you create yours.
If you feel like you’re just going through the motions—overwhelmed, unsatisfied, or simply treading water—it may be time for a change. Many capable professionals find themselves stuck in this cycle.
The solution usually isn’t knowledge. It’s turning knowledge into sustainable daily habits that restore well-being.
Through coaching, speaking, and writing, I help you live well so you can feel enthusiastic and content, productive and restored.
my wellness philosophy
Wellness is more than being physically healthy or free from disease or trying the latest health or wellness fad. It is the dynamic interplay between body, mind, and spirit—a way of living and being.
By making intentional lifestyle choices and practicing meaningful self-care we create a thriving and vibrant life.
My passion for gardening comes through as I often describe people as ecosystems living within larger ecosystems. What happens around us (our environment, relationships, stress levels, sunlight, emotions, and daily habits) affects what happens within us (our energy, mood, resilience, and overall health).

When key wellness components are out of balance, life feels tangled and overwhelming; you never feel done or satisfied, and you question your contributions. But when they support one another, life begins to feel clearer, calmer, more abundant, and manageable. Let’s discover what a balanced life looks like for you!
Small lifestyle shifts create powerful ripple effects.
what I believe
- You are not broken.
- Self-care is essential, not an indulgence.
- Knowing what to do is not the same as doing it.
- Change is easier with guidance and support.
- Simple lifestyle shifts can produce profound results.
- Each person benefits from a customized approach to well-being.
- Living well can be simpler than you think.
- You can do it!

my path to wellness coaching
My career began in nursing, where I spent more than 20 years working in surgical/trauma critical care and chronic pain management. In both settings, I saw firsthand how deeply our mindset, stress levels, and lifestyle habits affect healing and well-being.
Western medicine is exceptional at treating acute illness and emergencies. But it often struggles with chronic issues and rarely addresses the powerful connection between mind, body, and lifestyle choices.
That realization led me to shift from clinical healthcare into coaching where I could help people proactively strengthen their well-being rather than just react when something goes wrong.
As a coach and speaker, my work uniquely blends several perspectives:
- nursing expertise to understand the body and physiology
- adult education to explain complex ideas in simple, practical ways
- a holistic perspective that views people as interconnected ecosystems
- coaching methods that translate knowledge into practical, lasting behavior change
my education and professional training
- BSN, University of Michigan
- MEd, Penn State University
- Certified Well-Being Coach, Wellcoaches
- Training through HeartMath
- Board Certified Coach (BCC) through the Center for Credentialing & Education, with wellness coach specialty
- Training through the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine (Massachusetts General Hospital)

Well-being looks different for everyone—but it is absolutely achievable.
Are you ready to live fully?
